Scotia Capital’s Institutional Equity group held its annual Charity Trading Day on Thursday, February 21, 2008. All agency commissions on institutional equity trades made that day are being donated to charities supporting the social, emotional, intellectual and physical health and well-being of children and young people across the country. Since Charity Trading Day began, the Canadian institutional investment community has helped us raise more than $5 million for children’s charities.
