In the United States, Scotia Capital operates through teams of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists working together to offer multi-product solutions to clients' financial needs. We have operated in the U.S. for over fifty years and have consistently been top-ranked in the U.S. syndicated lending market. We also provide other key financial products and services to U.S.-based clients.

Our U.S. division is organized by industry group, which enables us to become expert in both an individual company's needs, as well as the industry in which it operates. In the U.S. we have eight nation-wide industry groups. These include:

We have offices located in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York, and San Francisco. Each of our five U.S.-based offices also includes a separate Diversified Industry Group. Diversified Industry Groups service clients within their geographic region, whose businesses fall outside the domain of the industries listed above.
We also have the following specialized groups that focus on credit products: Specialized Lending Products, Corporate Finance & Distribution, Citadel Hill Fund Management, and Private Equity Sponsor Coverage. These product groups provide key support to our various relationship managers and industry group specialists.

The Global Capital Markets business unit provides a broad range of financial product support, including debt and equity sales, trading, and research, derivatives, structured finance and securitization, foreign exchange, money market securities and precious metals.
